Swaziland
Swaziland

Swaziland is a small but desperately needy country with one of the highest rates of HIV infection in the world. The World Health Organisation has predicted that the country will be extinct by 2050 if the current rate of infection is not changed. In this country we work with Teen Challenge which is run by Kevin Ward. Elim support their projects working with AIDS orphans. Youth teams visit every year from NI and work teams are also going out. Each year two 40ft containers of aid are sent.

Malawi
Trevor and Maggie Mackriell represent Elim in Malawi and recently Les and Jackie Dennis, who work at an orphan project called Hope Village, were accepted as Elim Missionaries. For 4 years NI has been giving major support to establish good infrastructure. Elim have over 230 churches in Malawi run by National Leader, Martin Andiseni.

Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe
Elim has a long history in Zimbabwe going back to the days of Rhodesia. The country brings many challenges with its soaring rate of inflation. Elim not only have 55 churches but also 2 mission stations. One at Penhalonga with a church, a primary school of over 400 children and residential school of 25 for the deaf and dumb. Mozambique
Mozambique
Mozambique is Elim NI newest mission field. Friends from Emmanuel in South Africa have some churches as does Elim in Malawi. In 2006 Gregory and Sharon Kane, having previously served in Zimbabwe felt a burden for the work in Mozambique. Congo
Debbie Howard is our missionary in this needy land that has been ravaged by war. Debbie's work is with Central African Mission and includes working with street children, seeking to train them in job skills and house them in secure homes. Debbie also speaks at ladies groups and in particular teaches and trains Sunday School and Youth Workers.
