Local church provides a place for people to be planted so that they can flourish and be fruitful. The Psalmist describes the man who prospers in everything as a "tree planted by streams of water." Isaiah speaks of followers of Christ as "oaks of righteouness, a planting of the Lord". Commitment to local church is an essential part of being planted - putting down spiritual roots in order to live a life of maximum impact.
